RSPB's Ynys-hir Nature Reserve is one of the Welsh wildlife jewels, mixing Welsh oak woodland (Welsh rainforests) with wet grassland and saltmarshes. Visitors can marvel at the birdsong from resident birds and summer visitors from Africa such as Redstarts, Willow Warblers and Pied Flycatchers in the oak woodland. Enjoy the sight and scent of thousands of Bluebells or watch out for Lapwings displaying around their nesting grounds.
