The Great Orme is a magnificent Country Park and Local Nature Reserve. It is internationally important for its species-rich limestone grassland, limestone heath and vegetated sea cliffs. As well as a host of scarce plants, these habitats are important for bird species including Guillemots, Kittiwakes, Razorbill and Chough and butterflies including Grayling and a unique sub-species of the Silver-Studded Blue butterfly. The summit visitor centre has a range of facilities as well as exhibits, audio-visual displays and a wildlife gift shop.
