Lavernock Point overlooks the Severn Estuary and across to the Somerset coast and is a great place to sea watch. Watch the waves roll in.
Lavernock Point and the Wildlife Trusts Nature Reserve is a well-known observation point for migratory birds, in autumn, large flocks of Swallows, Redwings, Fieldfares, Finches can be seen. If lucky, you may see some Waxwings too.
The cliffs at Lavernock Point provide an excellent opportunity to look for fossils of ancient sea creatures at low tide.
